Theme for 2024: Sorrow and Sovereignty

An exploration of our unceasing sorrow and God’s unlimited sovereignty in Romans 9-11.

Summit 2024 is an honest look at our unceasing sorrow for those who don't know Jesus, and at God's unlimited sovereignty. It is for anyone who has felt this sorrow, who has cried out to God, or simply considered this too hard to think about.

Plan for the Day:
Coffee served from 9am
9:30-11am - Session 1 - with the Word of God preached by former cross-cultural worker and AFES Global Missions advocate. Guest spots by overseas workers. Prayer and singing throughout.
11-11:30am Morning Tea
11:30-1pm Session 2 - with a focus on God’s work amongst the unreached in both detail and guest spots. Prayer and singing throughout.
1pm - Stay around and join us for lunch. Chat with likeminded prayers, goers, and senders.

Summit 2024 mobilises the Church for Christ's commission to the least reached by raising awareness of the great need amongst unreached and unengaged people groups, encouraging fervent prayer for these people, engaging with workers serving in those areas, and having the Bible taught. It is an opportunity to connect with like-minded senders and servers.

Summit 2024 is for those who have never prayed for or heard about Unreached people groups, and for those who have been praying, sending, or going their whole lives.

"The Unreached and Unengaged conference is an opportunity to hear about God's work among the unreached and the task that remains unfinished - the task of taking the gospel to people and places that have still not yet had the opportunity to hear about Christ. I recommend Unreached and Unengaged to anyone considering how they can play a part in God's plan for all nations. Soon after I came to Christ, God captured my heart for the unreached and this passion has shaped my life. My prayer is that this conference is a means God uses to do the same for you."
- Dr Richard Hibbert, Director of the SMBC Centre for Cross-Cultural Mission. Dec.
